Mariana De La Garza

Mariana honed her interior design talents as a teen by decorating homes in her Cypress neighborhood for Christmas. Her favorite project was a Candy Land theme for one of her delighted clients.

While earning a B.A. in Interior Design and a minor in General Business Administration from Sam Houston State University, Mariana worked in retail as a customer service representative. She also worked as an interior design intern and design assistant with the Laura U Design Collective as well as with the Garrity Design Group.

In her position as Interior Designer, Mariana’s focus is to be ‘design centric’ and to creatively define the perfect combination of selections and finishes that reflect the personality and lifestyle of each client. Her creativity isn’t limited to a specific design style, but rather accentuates the preferences of her individual clients.

The American Society of Interior Design – Gulf Coast Chapter has recognized Mariana’s talents with two outstanding awards. The Best of Residential Award, entitled “The Container House”, consists of two containers used to create a house for a designer living in Haiti while working on building temporary housing for people affected by a storm. The Best of Commercial Award is entitled “The Next Atlanta Office”. It incorporates primary colors to display company values to passion, energy and wellness.

When not designing, Mariana enjoys attending concerts and spending time with friends, family and her dog Rocky.
