Oscar Hernandez

A native of Houston, Mr. Oscar Hernandez graduated from Rice University, earning a dual bachelor of arts degree in Economics and Managerial Studies. Shortly after college, he began an eight-year investment banking career as an equity research analyst and consultant, specializing in oilfield services. Oscar has worked with various Wall Street firms such as Lehman Brothers and Simmons & Company International.

Oscar's knowledge of the city’s diverse communities, coupled with his background in the financial markets makes him a natural for the world of real estate. His areas of focus are the established inner loop markets, the Galleria area and Memorial Villages and the emerging Spring Branch market.


Oscar is an active supporter of community development endeavors. He is a former Director for the Museum of Cultural Arts Houston (MOCAH), a volunteer with the Urban Business Initiative (UBI) and Habitat for Humanity, and is an alumni interviewer and student mentor for his alma mater.
